Fashion Promotion Work (2nd year)

Voi Jeans Industry Brief

Create a brand look and feel that will harness Voi Jeans which will make them instantly recognisable. Consider a more grown up and 'trend setting' image of Voi.

I have created five boards to show how I have done this.

I have also designed a poster for an in-store annual music event as additional promotion for the Voi Jeans brand.

Narrative - Recreating an iconic painting

Working in a small team re-creating an existing painting as a promotional photographic advertisement.

Using the painting as your reference, examine the painting’s visual language and narrative. Then source clothing, props and appropriate models to re-interpret the scene as a promotional image for a product/retailer/brand or service.

Consider:
The photograph must be shot on location
The photograph must not be altered in
Photoshop
Travel arangement
Poses
Lighting

Recreation (for Zara Home)

Olympic 2012 Adidas Carrier Bag

Create a carrier bag to be used in all UK Adidas stores to promote the up and coming 2012 Olympic Games.

Designs must be brand relevant and reference the 2012 Olympics. Carrier bags must adhere to stringent brandingguidelines as well as a specified colour palate.

Considering:
Brand relevance and customer appeal
Brand and design guidelines
An additional sponsor has to be featured on the carrier bag designs



I have also taken the graphics from my carrier bag design and developed a sticker leaflet to be placed into the carrier bags.


Vivienne Westwood Lingerie- Seduction

Identify a fashion brand that would introduce a new product to their existing range. Establish whether the additional product would be benifical to that brand.

Develop that idea by creating promotional media to be used by the brand in it’s extension.

Baring in mind:
The brands ethos and products the already produce
The market and the position of the new product
Current trends with in fashion and trends specific to that product

Extending Vivienne Westwood with lingerie. Collaborating with Agent Provocateur because of the family link preventing direct competition. I have developed a lingerie box, swing tag and press teaser.

I also wrote a report on the brand extension detailing the product range, price, design, market and likelihood of success. I researched the Vivienne Westwood and Agent Provocateur and developed a customer profile (based on the VW customer alone). As well as writing a press release to be sent to the editors of Vogue (Worldwide), i-D, Dazed and Confused, 125 Magazine, Elle, LOVE, Harpers Bazaar and Drapers. To notify editors of the brand extensions and important information.
